GTA 6 Delayed to November 19, 2026 — What Changed

What happened

On November 6, 2025, Rockstar announced that Grand Theft Auto VI would move from May 26, 2026 to November 19, 2026. It was the second time the game’s release had been pushed back.

Rockstar’s reason

The announcement gave one reason: the extra months would allow Rockstar to deliver the game at “the level of polish you expect and deserve.” Nothing more specific was said about what needed the time.

Where things stand now

November 19, 2026 has not moved since. Rockstar restated it when pre-orders opened in June 2026, and the date on the official game website is unchanged.
