GTA 6 Price and Editions — $79.99 and $99.99 Ultimate

GTA 6 price: $79.99 Standard, $99.99 Ultimate in the US. Both editions carry the same pre-order bonuses, so the $20 buys only the 16 Ultimate-exclusive items.

The $20 buys the 16 Ultimate items and nothing else. The pre-order bonuses are identical, so there is no bonus you can only reach by upgrading.

The boxed Standard Edition is a download code in a box, not a disc. It downloads in full like any digital copy; what you get on the shelf is packaging.

    What Ultimate adds

Rockstar describes the set as “an exclusive collection of items threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story” and then lists the names. It does not say what any of them do in the game, so the grouping below follows what the names themselves state.

    Vehicles (6)

    • ‘95 Grotti Cheetah
    • ‘67 Vapid Dominator Buggy
    • Ganado Retro Build
    • Shitzu Squalo
    • Jason’s Safehouse Vehicles
    • Classic Car Collection

    Weapons (2)

    • Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers
    • Personalized Weapon Variants

    Clothing and style (3)

    • Vice City Style
    • Stock 305 Clothing Store
    • Goodtime Gear

    Premises (5)

    • Rideout Customs Mod Shop
    • One-Eyed Willie’s Mod Shop
    • Sara’s Unisex Salon
    • Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor
    • PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store

Mod shops, a salon and a tattoo parlor appear on the list, but Rockstar has not said whether you own and run them or simply get access to them.

    Pre-order bonuses

Both editions come with the same two:

    • Vintage Vice City Pack — not limited to pre-orders. Every purchase made before November 20 includes it. Its contents have not been itemised.
    • One free month of GTA+ — included with digital pre-orders. The US PlayStation listing states the subscription renews into a paid one when the free month ends, so cancel before then if you do not want it.

Digital pre-orders can preload from November 12, and boxed codes go on sale that day so physical buyers can preload too. Downloading early is not playing early — see preload and release time.

    Not announced

    • Prices outside the US. Read your own store rather than converting the dollar price; the pre-order guide lists the Hong Kong PlayStation Store price.
    • Install size. Never published.
    • What the 16 items actually do. Names only: no stats, no unlock conditions, nothing about whether any of it is permanent.

    Which to buy

If you want the game, Standard is the whole game plus every pre-order bonus.

Ultimate is worth $20 more only if something on that list of sixteen appeals to you — and since Rockstar has published names and nothing else, you would be paying for a list you cannot yet evaluate. Waiting is a real option: an Ultimate Edition upgrade exists on the store, though its standalone price has not been announced.

Three things to confirm before paying: your account region, whether you want digital or a boxed code, and the GTA+ renewal terms.
