How much space will GTA 6 need?
The install size has not been announced. No figure for the game, and none for the preload.
The numbers going around — 150GB, 200GB and similar — are community estimates extrapolated from previous games. They are not a basis for buying a drive. Guess low and it will not fit; guess high and you spent money you did not need to.
Once preloads open on November 12, your own console’s store page shows the real download size and the free space it needs. That is the number to plan against. Until then, leaving generous headroom is the only sensible preparation.
